Counseling I
In the Counseling Course, we conduct research on the effectiveness, process, and case studies of individual psychotherapy and group approaches. In particular, I am working on research and practice based on the concept of the Humanistic Approach, which was developed in 1960s. Students choose a theme from a wide range of theories and phenomena related to psychotherapy, counseling, and clinical psychology, and then proceed with their research. The basis of such research is to proceed in a realistic and ethical manner and to devote energy to the theme, which is surprisingly difficult to achieve. It is important that students first come into contact with a variety of research and learn about the methods so that they can find and actualize the objectives of their research.
