• Behavior Experiment Building

Psychology encompasses a variety of fields, including developmental psychology, which focuses on the mental development of babies and young children; social psychology, which focuses on human relationships and the psychology and behavior of people in groups; and educational psychology, which deals with learning and motivation in education. In the Behavioral Laboratory, experiments are conducted to elucidate the mechanisms of the mind in each of the studied fields.

• Center for Integrated Clinical Psychology,
Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies, Kyushu University

Today’s society is becoming more complex and diverse every year, and change is happening at a faster pace. In such a society, “mental problems” are also becoming more complex and diverse. The Center for Integrated Clinical Psychology of Kyushu University provides clinical psychology consultation services for people who are troubled, worried, or suffering from mental problems and need help in some way. As such, it aims to be a place where people can come to face their problems, break them down, and find ways to solve them.

Student Salon

The student salon has been set up at the Kyushu University School of Education for students to prepare for classes, hold independent study sessions, and conduct meetings. Students use the salon day and night, and it has become a lively place where discussions on pedagogy and educational psychology are held every day. This is one of the advantages of small-group education, where all students are familiar with each other and can study Education and Educational Psychology collaboratively over a four-year period.
