Research Trial for High School Studentsresearch-trial
Research Trial for High School Students in the Faculty of Education, Kyushu University
What does it mean to research education and educational psychology? What is the difference between pedagogy for teacher training and pedagogy and educational psychology for training researchers and educational specialists? High school students might face challenges when it comes to picking their career paths. The Kyushu University School of Education offers a full day of lectures and seminars on education and educational psychology on the day after the Open Campus to help students solve their doubts and actually experience research. The purpose of the Research Trials is not just to provide guidance on how to get into universities or career education, but also to encourage high school students who are interested in research to participate in research groups and seminars, as well as to provide them with advanced education in the specialized fields of pedagogy and educational psychology by the staff of the Faculty of Education (including emeritus professors). We look forward to the participation of students who are interested in pedagogy and educational psychology, who wish to be exposed to cutting-edge research, who have a strong desire to become researchers in the future, and who are persistent thinkers even if they do not see immediate results. Please note that you are required to register for research trials in advance, so please apply through the School of Education website.
Currently, we are expanding our high school–university connection to overseas, and conducting research trials for overseas students in China (Shanghai-Shenzhen) and Thailand (Nakhon Si Thammarat).
