About Further Education

What is important for us now is not to separate human beings and the environment as we have done in the past, but to view them as integral parts of the “human environment,” and to explore ways to improve their coexistence. Based on this social background and philosophy, the Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies has developed a new interdisciplinary academic field to explore the optimal environment for its growth. It is a graduate school for research and education from anthropological, pedagogical, psycho-clinical, sociocultural, health science, and engineering perspectives. The Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies consists of the following majors (courses). A wide range of courses are offered, from urban policy to the inner world of human beings, and students are expected to study a range of subjects from engineering technology to humanities-based soft sciences, as well as specialized fields.
