Social History of Education I
In Social History of Education I, students will study matters related to learning and education from a historical perspective. The aim is to explore new possibilities for learning and education by rethinking the obvious from the ground up. In recent years, I have been conducting research with an interest in the ambiguity of the vocational skills required in school education. In seminars, a student is asked to present a report on previous research in pedagogy, and the participants present their opinions on it. The challenge is to have the participants listen to the opinions of others and then think deeply about the reasons for their own opinions afterwards.
