Introduction to Faculty Staff

How do changes in the environment around us, such as natural disasters, affect our minds and actions? I have been conducting research based on both practice and theory rooted in the field, exploring human beings from a perspective that is not confined to the individual and reexamining the relationship between human beings and the environment. In recent years, I have been conducting research using action research methods in which researchers and people in the field collaborate to find solutions for community problems. The themes have been community disaster prevention for possible huge tsunamis and community welfare in a super-aging society.
