MINAMI Hirofumi|Professor

Human Environmental Psychology
Psychology studies humans, who always exist within an environment. The environment that surrounds us, such as the place where we were born, the town we grew up in, the school we attended, and the place where we will work in the future, becomes our flesh and blood, and directly or indirectly defines the structure of our mind. Human Environmental Psychology is a field that breaks down the inseparable and interdependent relationships between people and their environment, and unravels the psychological problems and possibilities contained therein. In seminars, based on each student’s interest, we aim to discuss all kinds of issues by encouraging free ideas and curiosity that are not constrained by common sense, with the motto “one person, one field.” I may not remain until the time of thesis submission, but I hope to see you in classes, seminars, and cross-border lunches.
