Introduction to Faculty Staff

TOYA Koichi|Professor

Developmental Clinic II
In Developmental Counseling II, I conduct clinical psychological research on support for children and families that face various physical and mental development challenges, such as communication with others, friendship, language, and movement. In particular, we conduct group therapy for children and support activities for parents or siblings of children with disabilities. Another feature of our support activities is the use of the clinical movement method, a technique that has been primarily developed in our laboratory. We provide opportunities for undergraduate students to gain hands-on knowledge and skills while working alongside graduate students. The appeal of the program is that you can be involved in the growth of children.
